A Material World pt. 1

I wonder if the materials of this world exist in their most true form or if they need our help.

How do we respond to the materials of this world? How do you stay true to a material when making art? 

​

This sculpture responds to how a single material acts in its own world. My intention was to imitate what a world of cardboard and bamboo sticks could look like.
